Welcome To Our Home!

May all who enter as Guests, leave us as Friends.

Our home was built in 1852 and is full of beautiful character and history. The Victorian-style farmhouse was lovingly and painstakingly renovated and opened as Martha’s Vineyard Bed & Breakfast in 2000. We purchased the property in 2021 following a call to ministry and make every effort to provide extravagant hospitality and missional service to those who choose to make our home theirs during their visit to South Haven. We love being part of your special occasions and celebrations, and our wish and prayer is that you find whatever your soul seeks during your stay in our home. May all who enter as guests leave as friends.

Blessings,

Two Houses, Two Unique Experiences

Our property includes two different houses offering different guest experiences. We are considered a romantic getaway and cater primarily to couples and not families with young children. We can make an occasional exception for older children and charge an additional fee of $100/night for a third guest in a room (only available in select Guest House rooms).

Our Main House has five beautiful and cozy rooms, all located on the second floor. Each room has a private bathroom, gas fireplace (in service October through April), and a balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds. Make yourself at home in the parlor and cozy up with a book by the fireplace or challenge a friend to a game over a glass of wine. We’ll have fresh, hot coffee waiting for you every morning and breakfast service begins at 9 a.m. on the beautiful vine-covered verandah as weather permits, or in our elegant dining room.

If you want a more private experience, the Guest House is for you. We have six rooms, each with a private bathroom and fireplace. Five of our rooms are ground-level suites with two-person jacuzzi tubs, and the sixth room is a two-story suite with an upper-level balcony offering the best view of the grounds. The shared kitchenette has a Keurig with a large assortment of K-cups so you can get your coffee fix any time, as well as a microwave and mini-fridge. Breakfast is delivered in a picnic basket every morning at 9 a.m. for you to enjoy in the privacy of your room or out on the grounds.

The Grounds

Our home is nestled within four beautifully-manicured acres, your own private oasis during your stay. We have the most spectacular sunrises and it’s not uncommon to see deer, wild turkeys, and other animals roaming the grounds. Relax on a cozy bench by the pond, enjoy a picnic lunch in the gazebo, or munch on grapes from the small vineyard. Wake to the beautiful song of the birds and fall asleep to the gentle croaking of the frogs. Join friends and family around the firepit and engage in a friendly game of cornhole. Beauty, relaxation and fun await.

Breakfast

Every morning we will treat you to a full, hot breakfast prepared by Patty right in the Main House kitchen. Some of our guest favorites include Peaches & Cream French Toast Bake, Bougie Benedict, Nantucket Pie, and Caramel Apple Pancakes. And be sure to stop by the dining room every afternoon for some home-baked snacks and treats. If you have food allergies or issues, please us know and we’ll happily accommodate.
